BSI expands sharia services in West Java through new Tasikmalaya building

  PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) inaugurated the BSI Tasikmalaya Building to encourage penetration of the Islamic financial market in the West Java region.

"We see great potential in developing the halal ecosystem, MSMEs, and the creative economy in this region. BSI is committed to providing the best services and support to support the community's economic growth," said BSI Risk Management Director Grandhis H. Harumansyah in a written statement .

BSI Tasikmalaya is located on Jl. Otto Iskandardinata, Tasikmalaya, with facilities such as Pawn Service Office, Priority Service Office, Safe Deposit Box (SDB), Function Hall, and prayer room.

This building carries the concept of a green building which is designed with disabled-friendly features, such as road access and vertical transportation that facilitate movement, special toilets for the disabled, and ATMs with braille features to make it easier for blind customers.

"We hope this facility can provide banking services that are accessible to all levels of society in Tasikmalaya City," added Grandhis.

Through the presence of this building, BSI hopes to provide added value to the community, including increasing access to MSME financing, as well as Islamic financial education and literacy.

This building is also expected to become a hub for business people, the younger generation, and the wider community to learn more about sharia economic services and opportunities.

BSI also aims for this new building to boost West Java's contribution to strengthening the national halal ecosystem.

For information, BSI Tasikmalaya's assets reached IDR 1.3 trillion by the third quarter of 2025, growing 15 percent year- on-year (yoy). Third-party funds (TPF) reached IDR 1.1 trillion, up 17 percent yoy. Meanwhile, financing reached IDR 1.1 trillion, up 11.30 percent yoy.

Currently, there are five BSI branch offices in Tasikmalaya with 41 ATM e-channels, 118 EDC Merchants, and 4,101 QRIS that can support financial transactions for the local community.
