Bulls youngster Noa Essengue out for the season after needing surgery

Chicago Bulls young basketball player Noa Essengue will undergo left shoulder surgery, which will keep him out until the end of the 2025/2026 NBA season.

Quoted from the NBA website, Thursday, the rookie or debut player had to undergo a number of treatment procedures to heal his injury.

"The recommendation is to address the injury now so it doesn't drag on and become a long-term problem," said Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan.

Essengue is an 18-year-old player from France who was selected by the Bulls with the 12th overall pick in the NBA Draft.

He made his debut on November 22 against the Washington Wizards and has appeared in two other NBA games to date.
