Former Barcelona player Dani Alves could be set to return to action after his last appearance in early 2023.
According to a report by Football Espana on Monday, the Brazilian right-back is reportedly ready to continue his career at Portuguese third division club Sao Joao de Ver in the near future.
For the past nine months, Alves has been facing legal proceedings related to allegations of sexual harassment. However, the charges were successfully denied, and in February 2024, he was found not guilty after an appeal.
Since then, the 42-year-old has been more involved in spiritual activities while reorganizing his future.
Alves last played professionally in January 2023 with Mexican club Pumas UNAM, having previously played for Juventus.
However, his contract was terminated following a legal case that ensnared him, so he did not appear on the green field for almost three years.
