Indonesia releases SEA Games jersey, sales proceeds for Sumatra  The Indonesian team jersey for the 2025 SEA Games Thailand was officially launched at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Monday.


The launch of the jersey that will be worn by the Red and White team is the result of a collaboration between the Indonesian Sports Committee (KOI) together with apparel developer Mills and retailer Sarinah and curated by Indonesian designer Didit Hediprasetyo.


"So, we, the Indonesian Olympic Committee, are grateful for the collaboration of all individuals, the Indonesian people. One important element is artists. This is a concrete form of support given to these sports heroes, a truly extraordinary display of creativity," said KOI Chairman Raja Sapta Oktohari at a press conference in Tangerang on Monday.


"We're committed to carrying out this activity amidst the grief that's occurring in Indonesia and Thailand. Therefore, a percentage of the proceeds from sales will be donated to help our friends," said Okto, as he is familiarly known.




There were three jerseys launched, namely a jersey dominated by red as the first jersey, white as the second jersey, and army green as the third jersey.


Besides carrying a color nuance that is very thick with Indonesia, this jersey is also wrapped in motifs inspired by the arts and cultural skills of Toraja.


Previously, the regions of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra were affected by floods and landslides.


In a report from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), a total of 46 districts in these three provinces experienced damage.


A total of 3,000 houses, 43 educational facilities, and 133 bridges were damaged due to floods and landslides.
