Liverpool striker Alexander Isak said he will work hard to return to playing as soon as possible after suffering a serious fracture of the fibula in his ankle.
The Swedish striker suffered the injury during the match against Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (December 21st) WIB, just after scoring the opening goal. The match ended in a 2-1 victory for the Reds.
"It's really sad to be out for a while. It's time for recovery and support from the sidelines. I'll work hard to be back as soon as possible," Isak said on his official Instagram account, as quoted Wednesday.
