"We are pleased that this issue has been resolved and would like to congratulate Mr. Surianto on his inauguration as the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Football Association (PSTI) for the 2025-2029 period," said ISTAF Vice President Muhammad Fariq Abdul Halim in a reply letter to the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), as quoted in an official statement from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
ISTAF has received a notification letter from KONI and the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) regarding the implementation and recognition of the Executive Board of the All-Indonesia Sepak Takraw Association (PB PSTI) for the 2025-2029 period led by General Chairman Surianto.
Abdul Halim appreciated KONI and KOI for consistently providing information on developments related to internal conflicts among members of the Indonesian sepak takraw federation.
By resolving the dualism in management, he said, it would no longer hinder Indonesian sepak takraw at the world level.
