Former Canadian national team coach John Herdman is reportedly on the list of candidates to become the Indonesian national team coach, according to Sky Sports.Previously, the name of Liverpool assistant coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst was also reported to be included in the list of coaching candidates previously filled by Patrick Kluivert.
Herdman has had impressive achievements with the Canadian national teams, both the men's and women's teams. He led both teams to qualify for the World Cup finals.
Due to his success, he became the only coach to have led both the men's and women's national teams to the highest level of football. With the men's national team, he led them to the 2022 World Cup, while with the women's national team, he led them to the 2015 Women's World Cup.
