Salah started the match from the bench for the fourth consecutive game, amid his dispute with Liverpool's management and coach Arne Slott, but he came on as a substitute in the 25th minute after his teammate Joe Gomez was injured.
The Egyptian star was able to create Liverpool's second goal, scored by Hugo Ekiteke, as he sent in a corner kick which the French striker headed into the net.
After the match, a video circulated on social media showing Salah walking behind his Dutch teammate Virgil van Dijk, the team's captain, in the media area at Anfield Stadium, where the Liverpool-Brighton match was held.
One of the reporters asked, "Mo Salah, do you want to talk again?", to which the Egyptian star replied, laughing, "Talk twice in a row in one week? No."
Salah caused a major stir last week after making controversial statements in which he attacked his coach, Arne Slott, and the club's management after the Leeds United match because he was sitting on the bench.
In response to those statements, Salah was excluded
from Liverpool's Champions League match against Inter Milan last Tuesday.
Salah is preparing to join the Egyptian national team, which will participate in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco from December 21 to January 18.
