The Indonesian Tennis Association (Pelti) will fund the international tour program of national tennis athlete Janice Tjen and her teammates as part of preparations for the 2026 Asian Games.
Chairman of PP Pelti Nurdin Halid said that he would run a training camp (TC) program in preparation for the 2026 Asian Games at home and abroad.
"Beyond that, I've asked them to create a program to participate in at least 20 international series. After that, domestically, from January to August," Nurdin said .
"We're responsible for all the facilities, especially transportation and accommodation. The Pelti is responsible for that. Of course, we hope the government will also be involved in that."
When asked about the funds that must be prepared for the overseas TC, Nurdin answered "between five to 10 billion rupiah."
"Of course, we hope for sponsorship to encourage and support us so that we can achieve success and bring honor to our nation on a global level," said Nurdin.
