The Indonesian boxing team, making its SEA Games debut, won nine medals, consisting of 1 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze medals, thus achieving the target of one gold medal set by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Ray and the PERBATI administrators immediately gave bonuses to the athletes, with details of gold medal winners receiving Rp. 200 million, silver medal winners receiving Rp. 20 million each, and bronze medal winners receiving Rp. 10 million each.
"PERBATI has a tradition of recognizing achievement. This bonus is a token of appreciation and also serves as a motivator for them to achieve even greater heights in the future," Ray said in an official statement .
