The NBA website said the game was Flagg's first appearance since being selected as the first pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
"Opponents always put their strongest guards on him (Cooper Flagg) every night and try to limit his movement, but he handles it very well," said Dallas Mavericks senior player Anthony Davis.
Flagg's performance has continued to improve as the Mavericks have recovered from a difficult start to the season. They have won seven of their last 11 games, with Flagg averaging 25.1 points per game (ppg) during that stretch.
One of his best performances came when he scored 33 points to help his team beat the Denver Nuggets.
