Pertamina EP is committed to protecting state assets from potential legal issues and maintaining administrative order by completing the certification of hundreds of thousands of square meters of state-owned land (BMN) in the upstream oil and gas sector.
Senior Manager of Regional Relations for Java at Pertamina EP, Rian Dhanisaputra, in a statement in Jakarta on Friday, explained that the submission of the documents was part of an ongoing program and effort by the Land Matter & Formalities team to obtain certificates for all land assets managed by the company.
"The certification effort for all land assets is an effort to secure state-owned upstream oil and gas assets to support the smooth operation of oil and gas activities, as well as our responsibility as a company that supports the Astacita program of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, particularly regarding national energy security, through professional and responsible management of state assets," he said.
Pertamina EP has successfully completed the process of managing and receiving certificates of use rights (SHP) for BMN Hulu Migas in the form of land in a number of locations in the Pertamina EP Java Working Area spread across seven districts/cities in West Java and Central Java Provinces, namely Bekasi, Karawang, Purwakarta, Subang, Majalengka, Indramayu, and Brebes.
A total of 15 Upstream Oil and Gas State Property certificates with a total area of approximately 137 thousand square meters were symbolically handed over by the Land Offices of Brebes Regency, Majalengka Regency, Subang Regency, Indramayu Regency, and Bekasi Regency.
Meanwhile, the SHP submitted was in the name of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia cq Ministry of Finance, which is the highest legal basis for land ownership.
