PSIM Yogyakarta is on holiday for one week due to the competition break

PSIM Yogyakarta manager Razzi Taruna said the Laskar Mataram team was given a week off due to the break in the 2025/2026 BRI Super League competition.

Quoted from the club's official website, Tuesday, Razzi explained that the holiday given to the PSIM Yogyakarta squad was in order to maintain the players' physical and mental fitness.

"With a decent break before the next match (23/12) against Persijap, we agreed to give the team a week off. We plan to resume training on December 8," said Razzi.

"The goal is for the players to have quality time with family and friends, and to refresh themselves. This way, they can be more focused on the next match," he added.

Meanwhile, head coach Jean-Paul van Gastel also confirmed the holiday policy during a press conference after the match against Persija Jakarta.
