Two Persis Solo U-20 players, namely Abraham Pangkali and Farel Amedio Nesta, were called up for the Indonesian U-20 National Team selection to take part in the talent ID camp on December 2-5 at the Garudayaksa Football Academy, Bekasi Regency.
Quoted from the club's official website, Tuesday, Abraham Pangkali admitted that he was happy to get the opportunity to take part in the U-20 National Team selection and was initially surprised by this news, the player from Jayapura is optimistic that he can make it into the Garuda Muda squad.
"I was initially surprised when Coach Rasiman sent me my name . I didn't expect to be called at first, and I'll probably have to focus on making it through. It's the result of all the hard work that has come all the way to Solo and making my parents proud," Abraham said.
Echoing Abraham, Farel Amedio Nesta also expressed his gratitude for the call-up to the U-20 National Team selection and said that he would maintain his physical condition and improve his performance by undertaking additional training sessions.
Farel also expressed his gratitude to the Persis Solo Academy coaching team, as without their help and support, he would not have been able to secure the opportunity to be selected for the national team.
