Samsung announced its plans to become the first company to integrate Google Photos services into its smart TV line.As reported by Engadget on Tuesday, this integration will be combined with Vision AI Companion, Bixby's enhanced artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual assistant, so that users' photos can become part of the everyday viewing experience on the television screen.
Samsung stated that, in the future, users' photos will appear contextually when browsing the TV's operating system, so that personal memories can be displayed in moments that are deemed relevant and convenient for the user.
Samsung is preparing three new Google Photos-based features for TVs. The first feature is called Memories, which will feature curated stories based on people, locations, and meaningful moments from a user's photo collection.
