Indonesian women's volleyball athlete Syelomitha Afrealiza Wongkar admitted she learned many lessons from the 2025 Thailand SEA Games.
Syelomitha, who made her debut with the Indonesian women's volleyball team at the senior level, said she felt awkward at the start of the match, but the full support of her teammates made her more confident.
"I was nervous, it was my first time too, right? I was nervous, and I felt a bit scared, because it was my first time," Syelomitha told reporters in Tangerang on Tuesday.
"Enjoy it. Enjoy it on the field. And the seniors also help me a lot. So I feel like, 'Oh, okay, it's just normal,'" added Syelomitha.
The Livin Mandiri player revealed that he received a lot of input from his seniors, including captain Megawati Hangestri.
Syelomitha assessed that Megawati was a figure who really embraced her juniors and never got angry either on or off the field.
