While in the disaster area of Aceh Tamiang Regency, Meutya Hafid also inspected the BTS tower which was damaged due to the impact of flooding in Tanah Terban Village, Karang Baru District.
In addition to inspecting the BTS tower, the Minister of Communication and Digital also distributed logistical aid to disaster-affected residents in refugee tents at the Aceh Tamiang Regent's office complex.
Currently, the operation of mobile device telecommunications infrastructure is still assisted by generator and battery power because PLN's electricity capacity is not yet optimal.
"Well, we've already seen direct visits to the affected BTS, so the BTS recovery rate is already above 90, even 95 percent," said Meutya.
