The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs said the network in the disaster-stricken areas of Sumatra has recovered 90 percent.

  The Ministry of Communication and Digital  has released a report from cellular operators stating that more than 90 percent of transmission towers in flood- and landslide-affected areas in West Sumatra and North Sumatra are back in operation.


This marks significant progress in cellular network restoration in flood- and landslide-affected areas. The government has ensured that recovery efforts are expedited so residents can resume communication and access vital information.


In her statement  Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid said that restoring communication services was a government priority to ensure that citizens' needs and disaster management coordination continued.
