The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs helps maintain telecommunications services during the New Year holidays.
The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) has put Radio Frequency Spectrum Monitoring Centers (Balmon SFR) on standby in various regions to help maintain the quality of telecommunications services during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The SFR Balmon will monitor the frequency spectrum from December 19, 2025, to January 4, 2026, to help maintain the quality of telecommunications services on travel routes, tourist areas, and busy centers during the year-end holidays.

"Even though it's a holiday, our colleagues continue to work to support and provide services to the community," said Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid while inspecting the Nataru (New Year) Post at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Office in Central Jakarta on Tuesday.

"People can vacation while staying connected, so they can travel and vacation with their families in peace and comfort," he said.

Balmon SFR also conducts additional monitoring in areas facing disasters such as Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and South Kalimantan.

Meutya said this effort was aimed at helping residents access information and communication services in emergency situations.

Coordination between Balmon will be carried out during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays.

The results of monitoring the provision of telecommunications services during this period will be used as evaluation material to improve communication services during the next major holiday period.
