Trent Alexander-Arnold suffers injury, faces two months out

Trent Alexander-Arnold suffers injury, faces two months out  Real Madrid confirmed that their right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold, suffered a left thigh muscle injury during the 2025/2026 La Liga match against Athletic Club on Thursday morning WIB, which is expected to keep him out for two months.

"Following examinations, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the anterior rectus quadriceps muscle of his left thigh. His recovery will continue to be monitored," Madrid stated on its official website on Thursday.

The situation is of particular concern as the 27-year-old recently recovered from a hamstring injury sustained in November 2025.

After recovering, Trent was a regular starter in Los Blancos' last three matches against Elche, Girona and Athletic Club.

When meeting Athletic Club, Trent was withdrawn due to injury in the 55th minute and was replaced by Raul Asencio.
