Two martyrs and several missing in Gaza after a war-damaged building collapsed amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.

A medical source told Anadolu Agency that a second Palestinian, Ali Jundiya, arrived at Al-Ma'madani Hospital after being killed by a bomb fired from an Israeli drone east of Gaza. Eyewitnesses said the attack occurred in areas where Palestinians are permitted to move freely under the agreement.

Since the agreement came into effect, Israel has committed hundreds of violations, resulting in the deaths of 401 Palestinians and injuries to 1,108 others, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health.

On Sunday morning, the occupation army opened heavy fire on various areas east of Gaza City, in addition to northeast of the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, and areas east of Khan Younis and north of Rafah in the south, within the areas under its control according to the agreement, without any information about injuries resulting from these shots.

In a related incident, three Palestinians went missing Saturday night after a partial collapse of a building damaged in the Israeli war in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City. The Gaza Civil Defense reported that its crews rescued five of the eight people trapped inside, but could not reach the remaining three due to difficult field conditions, after a rescue operation that lasted approximately seven hours.

The Gaza Strip has recently witnessed the collapse of several houses and residential buildings previously damaged by Israeli bombing, due to the impact of heavy rains and strong winds, resulting in the death and injury of a number of Palestinians, according to government sources.

Palestinians are forced to live in cracked and dilapidated buildings due to the lack of options, amid Israel’s destruction of most buildings in the sector and its prevention of the entry of mobile homes and building and reconstruction materials, despite the fact that more than two months have passed since the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10,

During the two years of genocide, the Civil Defense lost most of its heavy equipment and machinery due to deliberate Israeli bombing of it and its headquarters, forcing it to work with simple and primitive tools to rescue people from under the rubble.

The Civil Defense, before the outbreak of the genocide, was suffering from the deterioration of its equipment due to the passage of years, amidst an Israeli ban on the entry of new equipment at the time, while this ban continued, disavowing its obligations stipulated in the ceasefire agreement.

The agreement ended a genocide that Israel began on October 7, 2023, with American support over the course of two years, which left about 71,000 Palestinian martyrs and more than 171,000 wounded, and massive destruction with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
