Two Palestinians, one of them a child, were killed by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of 16-year-old Ryan Abu Mualla, who was shot by the Israeli occupation army in the town of Qabatiya, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank, noting that his body was being held, without providing further details.

A video circulating on social media showed the moment Abu Mualla, a child, was shot. He was walking normally when he was surprised by soldiers who fired heavily at him.

This was preceded by the ministry’s announcement of the martyrdom of the young man Ahmed Ziyoud (22 years old) by the bullets of the Israeli occupation army in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of the city of Jenin.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement preceding the Ministry of Health's statement that its crews transported to the hospital "a serious injury from live ammunition to the chest of a young man (22 years old)" in the village of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin city, and indicated attempts to resuscitate the heart and lungs of the injured man, before announcing his death.

According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli occupation army stormed the town and spread out in its streets, coinciding with another raid on the town of Qabatiya in Jenin.

This brings the number of Palestinian martyrs in the ongoing Israeli escalation in the West Bank to more than 1,102, in addition to about 11,000 wounded and more than 21,000 arrests.

In the same context, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA said that a young man was wounded by Israeli occupation army gunfire near the Nur camp, east of the city of Tulkarm.

She added that Israeli forces inside and around the Nur Shams camp "fired live ammunition at a young man while he was near the western entrance of the camp, which led to him being wounded in his legs and being transferred to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city."

Since January 21, 2025, the Israeli occupation army has continued a military operation in the northern West Bank, which began in the Jenin camp and then expanded to the Nur Shams and Tulkarm camps.

Since then, the army has been besieging the three camps and continuing to completely destroy and vandalize the infrastructure, citizens’ property, and hundreds of homes and shops, while the displacement of its residents, numbering about 50,000, continues, according to official data.

In a third incident, in the central West Bank, Wafa reported that a 52-year-old Palestinian man from Jenin Governorate was shot in the foot with live ammunition near the apartheid wall erected on the lands of Al-Ram town (north of Jerusalem), and was subsequently taken to the hospital.

For its part, the Voice of Palestine radio station (government-run) reported that the Israeli army stormed several areas of the West Bank on Saturday evening, including the village of Kobar, north of Ramallah (central), and the town of Jayyous, northeast of Qalqilya (north), without indicating any clashes or arrests.

Since the start of the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, which began on October 8, 2023 and lasted for two years, the Israeli occupation army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, targeting Palestinians and their property.

The Israeli war of extermination in Gaza left about 71,000 martyrs and more than 171,000 wounded Palestinians, most of them children and women, and massive destruction with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
