Waroeng Steak and Shake restaurant has provided sponsorship support to badminton player Jonatan Christie, extending the list of athletes sponsored by the national culinary brand.

Waroeng Steak and Shake Commissioner Yuga Adhiyaksa said this step is a concrete manifestation of support for the development of badminton, a favorite sport of the Indonesian people.

"We are very proud to collaborate with one of Indonesia's finest sons, an inspiration through his hard work. This isn't just about supporting athletes, but also a symbol of Waroeng Steak and Shake Indonesia's continued progress, encouraging young Indonesians to achieve," Yuga said at a press conference at Daddies Arena in South Tangerang on Thursday.

"Hopefully, this collaboration will be a positive step, generating positive energy and elevating Indonesia's reputation on the global stage."

The CEO and founder of Waroeng Steak and Shake, Jody Brotosuseno, echoed this sentiment, stating that the reason for collaborating with Jonatan was the 28-year-old athlete's achievements, who is currently ranked fourth in the world.

"We want to go global, we want to open in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and we hope that by collaborating with Jojo, we can also bring it to the world, because, thank God, Jojo was able to qualify for the World Tour Finals," said Yuga.
