Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its latest flagship phone, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, in China on December 25, 2025.
As reported by Gizmochina on Monday, this device is the debut product of the collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica, with the main focus on improving camera technology.
In released promotional materials, Xiaomi showcased black and white color options, while also hinting at significant improvements in photography capabilities. Several design details and key specifications of the phone have also begun to emerge ahead of the official launch.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a circular camera module positioned in the center of the rear panel, with the Leica logo in the center. The "Ultra" logo remains on the top left side of the rear panel.
Different from the previous generation, the volume button now comes in the form of a separate round button for comfort when used.
In terms of appearance, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra switches to a flat screen with rounded corners. The rear camera bump has also been made more compact, and this model no longer includes a secondary display on the back.
