Djoko said that around 100 Generation Z athletes showed promise by contributing medals in all sports contested in the 2025 SEA Games.
"We appreciate the young athletes, especially those who managed to win top medals. There are more than 100 Gen Z athletes who achieved maximum results, even gold medals," Djoko told.
"Well, of course, we must maintain their consistent performance to reach even higher levels. We must prepare even better going forward," he added.
Generation Z athletes contributed to the Red and White team, including Rizki Juniansyah, who also won gold at the 2024 Olympics. Rizki broke the world record for the men's clean & jerk in the 79kg class with a total lift of 365kg.
