86 Palestinians arrested in London for showing solidarity with activists of the "Palestine Action" movement.
Eyewitnesses reported on Sunday that Palestinians staged a protest outside a London prison on Saturday in solidarity with activists opposed to British companies' dealings with Israel.

Witnesses added that protesters demonstrated outside Wormwood Scrubs prison in west London in support of Omar Khaled, who has been on hunger strike for 17 days as part of the "Prisoners for Palestine" campaign.

London police announced the arrest of 86 people on suspicion of "trespassing," and said that a number of protesters also managed to enter the staff entrance area of one of the prison buildings.

Eight activists from the “Palestine Action” movement, who are currently imprisoned, have been on a hunger strike for more than two months in protest against their detention without formal charges being brought against them.

Palestine Action was founded in 2020 and gained prominence through the activities it carried out in Britain following the Israeli war of extermination on the Gaza Strip since October 8, 2023.

The group was known for carrying out activities to halt production at factories belonging to companies that deal with Israel. Among its most prominent activities was what it carried out against the factory of the Israeli defense industries company “Elbit Systems” in the city of Bristol, which led to the disruption of drone production at this factory.
