  The 12th Plenary Session of the 3rd Session Period of the 2025-2026 Session Year approved Adies Kadir, previously Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, to become a Constitutional Justice at the Constitutional Court (MK) from the Indonesian House of Representatives institution.

"Can it be approved?" said Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Saan Mustopa, while leading a plenary session, which was met with affirmative action from members of the Indonesian House of Representatives present at the parliamentary complex .

In addition, the plenary session also agreed to revoke the Decree of the Indonesian House of Representatives Number 11/DPR/1/2025-2026 concerning the DPR's approval of the replacement of constitutional judges, which had previously nominated Inosentius Samsul.

After approval, Saan invited Adies Kadir to the front of the plenary session podium to be introduced as a candidate for Constitutional Court justice. Adies' nomination was made to replace Constitutional Court Justice Arief Hidayat, who will soon retire.

With the approval of Adies Kadir as a candidate for Constitutional Court Judge, according to him, the Indonesian House of Representatives has also received a letter from the Golkar Party DPP Number: B/934/DPP/GOLKAR/2026 dated January 26, 2026, regarding the Interim Replacement (PAW) of the Indonesian House of Representatives Leadership from the Golkar Party for the remainder of the 2024-2029 term.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Habiburokhman, as the commission that processed the nomination, said that there is a need for strengthening within the Constitutional Court institution to maintain its dignity by returning to the implementation of its essential duties and functions.
