The House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) held its 12th Plenary Session of Session Period III of the 2025-2026 Session Year, with the agenda of determining candidates for Constitutional Court Justice and candidates for Bank Indonesia Deputy.
Previously, the appointment of Constitutional Court justice candidates was not on today's agenda. However, Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Saan Mustopa, announced a change in the agenda during the plenary session.
"We are requesting the approval of the factions to change the agenda for today's plenary session to the following: first, a report by Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) on the results of discussions on accelerating Polri reform, followed by decision-making. Second, a report by Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) on the proposal to replace Constitutional Justices," Saan said at the parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Tuesday.
The next agenda, he said, was that Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives would submit a report on the results of the fit and proper test for Candidate Members of the Republic of Indonesia Ombudsman for the 2026-2031 Term, followed by decision-making.
Report of Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives on the results of the fit and proper test for the candidate for Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, followed by decision making.
Meanwhile, the canceled agenda item was the report from Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) on the results of the fit and proper test for candidates for the National Alms Agency (BAZNAS) from the community. According to him, Commission VIII requested that this be rescheduled for the next plenary session.
