Dewangga said this after he started Persib's last match in the first round, when they defeated Persija 1-0 at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium, January 11.
The victory made Persib the mid-season champions after topping the standings with 38 points, one point ahead of Borneo FC in second place, and three points ahead of Persija Jakarta in third place.
"It definitely met expectations (mid-season champions) because we wanted to win again and make history by becoming champions for three consecutive seasons in Indonesia," Dewangga said, as quoted from the official I.League website on Tuesday.
Since being brought in from PSIS Semarang this season, Dewangga did not immediately gain the trust of coach Bojan Hodak at the start of the season.
His debut came in the Asian Champions League II match when he came on as a substitute when Persib defeated Selangor FC 2-0 on October 23, 2025.
