Alongside Trump, Prabowo also signed the Peace Council charter.
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto also signed the charter of the Peace Council for Gaza, alongside United States (US) President Donald Trump, on the sidelines of the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) at Congress Hall, Davos, Switzerland, Thursday afternoon local time.

President Prabowo also signed the charter along with other state leaders, which marked the official declaration of the Gaza Peace Council as an international organization.

Based on a live broadcast via The White House YouTube account watched from Jakarta, Thursday, President Prabowo, wearing a suit and black cap, signed the Peace Council charter on the left side of President Trump.

President Trump, as the leader of the Peace Council and initiator, is flanked by President Prabowo on the left and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on the right, who also signed the charter simultaneously.

On the sidelines of the signing, President Trump made a joke in front of the media crew, causing President Prabowo and PM Orban to laugh lightly.

President Trump also took time to observe President Prabowo as he was signing the charter.

When the document signing was completed, President Trump shook hands and patted President Prabowo on the back, as if to show the good relationship between the two leaders.

President Trump then watched as President Prabowo and PM Orban presented the documents they had signed.

Besides Indonesia and Hungary, a number of other state leaders also signed the Peace Council Charter, namely Bahrain, Morocco, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kosovo, Mongolia, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.

Indonesia's participation in the Peace Council aims to ensure that the Gaza transition process remains focused on a two - state solution , rather than becoming a permanent arrangement that ignores the rights of the Palestinian people.

Indonesia will use this participation to voice its principled positions regarding the cessation of violence, the protection of civilians, humanitarian access, and the restoration of legitimate Palestinian civil governance.
