Gayus Lumbuun: President's dialogue proves seriousness in involving professors

  Professor of Krisnadwipayana University (Unkris) Prof. Gayus Lumbuun assessed that President Prabowo Subianto's dialogue with around 1,200 professors in Jakarta, Thursday (15/1), was an important momentum and proof of the government's seriousness in involving professors as national thinkers on various issues.

According to him, the role of professors is very strategic because they not only enrich knowledge but also provide solutions for improving the nation towards Golden Indonesia 2045.

"The involvement of professors is a concrete step in solving this nation's problems. Input from professors will enrich concrete solutions so that Indonesia is truly ready to enter its golden age," said Prof. Gayus in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

Therefore, he appreciated the President's move to invite professors to convey their main ideas.

However, he hopes it will not stop there, but there will be further steps by involving professors in various government programs.
