Women's doubles pair Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari became the first Indonesian representatives to secure a place in the semifinals of the 2026 Thailand Masters after defeating top seeds Hsu Yin Hui/Lin Jhih Yun of Taiwan at the Nimibutr Arena, Bangkok, Friday.
Ana/Trias needed 44 minutes to secure their first win over the world number 14 pair with a score of 21-13, 22-20.
The victory was achieved through a tight struggle, especially in the second game, when Ana/Trias were behind 18-20 before coming back and winning four consecutive points to secure a ticket to the semifinals.
