Anthropic announced the launch of Claude for Healthcare, a suite of artificial intelligence (AI)-based features aimed at healthcare providers and patients.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Wednesday, the announcement was made by Anthropic, following the launch of a similar feature from OpenAI, ChatGPT Health, some time earlier.
Claude for Healthcare allows users to sync health data from their phones, smartwatches, and other platforms. Anthropic emphasizes that the data will not be used to train its AI models.
Unlike ChatGPT Health, which initially focused more on the conversational experience for patients, Claude for Healthcare is designed to support administrative and research work processes in the healthcare sector.
The model is equipped with a feature called “ Connectors ”, which allows Claude to connect to various official databases and platforms to speed up information searches and report generation.
