Arema FC coach Marcos Santos emphasized that all players are an important part of carrying out the team's mission to consistently achieve victory throughout the BRI Super League competition.
"Arema's players are equally important, they all work equally hard," Marcos said in Malang, East Java, on Monday.
Therefore, Marcos denied the assumption that his team only relied on the role of one or two players.
The selection of players featured takes into account each individual's readiness, especially as Arema FC is currently chasing further wins in upcoming matches.
He gave an example, when Dalberto was pulled out and Dedik Setiawan was brought in during a tough match against Persik Kediri at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency, Sunday (11/1), the player was able to make a contribution for Arema.
Likewise, when Ian Puleio was introduced, the player was able to perform well and became the savior for Arema FC by scoring the winning goal in the final minutes of the match.
