Audi introduced its first Formula 1 car, the Audi R26, which will compete in Formula 1 this season, at its livery launch in Berlin, which introduced its first livery which combines silver, orange and black.
"This project is a driving force for the entire Audi, reflecting our transformation towards a culture that increasingly prioritizes performance, efficiency, and innovation, with the long-term ambition of fighting for the World Championship title by 2030," said Audi CEO Gernot Dollner in a written statement.
Team Principa Audi Revolut F1 Team's Jonathan Wheatley described the Audi R26 as a result of the team's hard work.
Audi has been interested in developing a Formula 1 car since 2022 and will only form a team to enter the event in the 2026 season.
