Bali United has added another foreign player by recruiting Costa Rican player Diego Campos to strengthen its attack line in the second round of this season's Super League.
"We see Diego as one of the coaching staff's needs in the attacking sector," said Bali United CEO Yabes Tanuri in Gianyar, Bali, on Thursday.
The Serdadu Tridatu high-ranking officer hopes the young player will quickly adapt to the coaching team and the other players.
The winger, who can play as an attacking midfielder, began his career in the United States with Montverde Academy in 2013.
A year later he joined the Clemson Tigers college club for three years and played 81 games to score 23 goals.
Campos had a European career in the 2020/2021 season with Jerv in the Norwegian League, playing 48 matches and scoring 15 goals.
After that, he moved to the Swedish League to strengthen Degerfors IF in the 2022/2023 season and appeared consistently in 56 matches and scored 11 goals.
