Popular indie music distribution platform Bandcamp has banned music created with artificial intelligence, or AI, on its platform, becoming one of the first platforms to take a stand in the music industry.As quoted by The Hollywood Reporter, Wednesday (14/1), this company wants musicians to continue making music, and for fans to have confidence that the music they find on Bandcamp is created by humans.
"The fact that Bandcamp is home to such a vibrant community of real people making amazing music is something we want to protect and preserve," the company said in a post shared on Reddit.
