Barcelona is reportedly ready to offer a new contract to attacking midfielder Fermin Lopez, who is enjoying an impressive season.
According to a report by renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano on Monday, talks over a contract extension for Lopez are already underway and are expected to reach an agreement in the next few days.
The 22-year-old midfielder is reportedly set to sign a new contract that will run until 2031.
Fermin has been consistent and has made a significant contribution to the Blaugrana's attack throughout this season. In 25 appearances across all competitions, Fermin has recorded 10 goals and 10 assists.
This performance has made him a key player in coach Hansi Flick's game plan, even now above Dani Olmo in the order of choice for the number 10 attacking midfielder position.
