Beckham believes the second round will be much more competitive, given that Persib's rivals have entered the January transfer window actively recruiting new players.
"Because many of our opponents also have new players from many other clubs who have already prepared for the second round," Beckham told reporters.
"So, we have to be more prepared because it won't be easy to defend the title, as we've won back-to-back titles," Beckham added.
