Beckham has been in communication with John Herdman

  Indonesian national team player Beckham Putra admitted that he had communicated with Indonesian national team coach John Herdman.

"Yes, he also asked how I was, how I was doing and what my condition was ," Beckham told reporters.

According to the Persib player, Herdman contacted him before Persib's match against Persija in the Super League on January 11.

"He also had time to say hello before the match against Persija because he watched the match against Persija on television," said Beckham.

"Thank God, I managed to score (in that match). Hopefully, that can prove me right (to Herdman)," Beckham added.
