World Boxing Council (WBC) women's atomweight (46.3 kg) world champion Camila Zamorano is ready to defend her title for the second time against Veronica Ruiz on February 21 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
"Camila has emphasized that the upcoming bout will be an exciting one, as it will be her second world title defense," the WBC reported on its official website.
Camila is known as one of the most promising female boxers in the atomweight division. With an aggressive yet disciplined fighting style, the Mexican champion captured the WBC world championship belt and continues to show significant improvement with each fight.
Ahead of his title defense, the boxer nicknamed "Magnifica" expressed his happiness and enthusiasm to return to fighting in front of the Hermosillo crowd.
