Chelsea's interim manager, Calum McFarlane, said Cole Palmer is "ready to play" when they face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Thursday (January 8) at 2:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time in Week 21 of the 2025/2026 Premier League.
McFarlane made the comments after Palmer made his first full appearance since being sidelined with a long-term groin and leg injury in the 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Monday.
"Cole is in good condition. We had a recovery session yesterday (Monday), so we'll see how the players come in, how they feel, and how they're doing in training before we know for sure. But I think Cole is ready to play," McFarlane said, as quoted on Chelsea's official website on Wednesday.
