The Ministry of Communication and Digital ensures that the quality of national telecommunications services remains stable throughout the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holiday period, despite a surge in traffic due to high national mobility.
"From December 19, 2025, to January 4, we reported, and hopefully the public has also felt this, that the quality is well maintained, stable, and secure for national connectivity," said Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid, after the closing of the Joint Post for Monitoring Telecommunication Service Quality in Bandung, Monday.
Meutya stated that the quality of telecommunications services during this period was maintained, as measured in 104 regencies/cities or 35 provinces, where average speeds reached 80.58 Mbps for downloads and 35.36 Mbps for uploads.
