Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs reviews the construction process of temporary housing in West Sumatra
  Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam) Djamari Chaniago inspected the construction of 117 temporary housing (huntara) for disaster victims in Kayu Pasak, Palembayan District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, Thursday (8/1).

In an official press release received  it was explained that the visit was carried out to ensure that the housing development process could run smoothly and conducively.

In the middle of the visit, Djamari took the time to greet residents at the refugee post located at the Main Post of SDN 05 Kayu Pasa, not far from the housing construction site.

"Don't forget to always pray in situations like this. May Allah make things easier for us. I also convey greetings from President Prabowo Subianto to the people here," Djamari said to the evacuees.

Based on data from the Agam Regency Government, there were 244 refugee families recorded at the post visited by Djamari.

The refugees are planned to be moved to 117 shelters currently under construction.

A total of 117 residences are currently being built by TNI personnel who have been working there for some time.

Therefore, Djamari also took the time to meet the soldiers to express his appreciation for their performance so far.

"Don't think of this as just hard work, this is proof that soldiers never know tiredness, fatigue, for the sake of our society and nation," explained Djamari.

"I am very proud to see you willing to use your energy for this cause, even though some of you may have families affected by disaster," he added.

Djamari hopes that the housing will be completed soon so that the families of the disaster victims can live in it.
