Defeating Fritz, Musetti will challenge Djokovic in the quarterfinals of the AO 2026.

  Italian tennis player Lorenzo Musetti defeated fellow Top 10 star Taylor Fritz on Monday to advance to the Australian Open (AO) quarter-finals where he will face Novak Djokovic.

With his sharp strokes, Musetti scored a 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 victory on Rod Laver Arena to secure his fourth Grand Slam quarter-final appearance and first in Melbourne.

"I think today my serve was really good," said Musetti, who hit 13 aces and won 84 percent of his first-serve points, as quoted by the ATP.
