According to her, there are numerous studies indicating that magnetic storms may affect the health of people with heart disease.
She says: "Fluctuations in the magnetic field can affect devices and the weather, but scientists are still debating whether magnetic storms affect human health. On the one hand, if a strong change in the magnetic field disrupts devices, it should presumably affect people as well. But in general, healthy people are not affected. There are studies that confirm and others that deny an increase in cases of cardiovascular disease after magnetic storms, so there is no clear consensus on this issue."
The doctor emphasizes the need for people who are affected by magnetic field disturbances, or who are sensitive to weather conditions, to pay extra attention to their health during days of magnetic storms.
