The chairman of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI), Michael Victor Sianipar, emphasized the readiness and professionalism of the organizing committee and the federation, ahead of the 2026 Futsal Asian Cup, which begins on January 27.
Michael said the FFI, along with head coach Hector Souto, had provided the Garuda squad with the best possible preparation, including a long-term training camp, trial matches, and a competitive program over the past year.
"We don't talk much about targets, we talk about preparation. We've prepared as best as possible with the limitations we have. Everything will depend on the big day, and every match is crucial," Michael said when met.
He added that the group stage is guaranteed to be a tight one, as all opponents have shown significant improvement in recent years.
