Indonesian men's singles badminton player Anthony Sinisuka Ginting has begun rebuilding his performance in 2026 after a difficult year in 2025, plagued by injuries that saw his ranking drop to 76th in the world.Ginting, who suffered a shoulder injury at the 2025 French Open last October, is now fit and will make his debut in the 2026 tournament calendar at the 2026 Indonesia Masters.
"2025 certainly wasn't easy for me. There were many tests, and it wasn't always smooth sailing. So, as I moved on to 2026, I tried to reflect on what 2025 would be like. This was indeed a path I had to take; you could say, starting all over again," Ginting explained at a press conference at Istora, Senayan.
The badminton player who won a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics said that his debut moment made him lack confidence because of his long absence.
