Injuries reported during large-scale raids carried out by the occupation army in various areas of the West Bank
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that “a number of citizens suffered from suffocation during the Israeli occupation forces’ raid on the village of Tell, west of Nablus,” adding that “ambulance crews dealt with more than 7 cases of suffocation as a result of the occupation’s raid on the village of Tell and its firing of toxic gas bombs.”
South of the city, the agency reported that an Israeli force stormed the village of Awarta “amid heavy gunfire and toxic gas bombs, which led to clashes, without any injuries being reported.”
Palestinian youths usually use stones to throw at Israeli occupation army vehicles during their incursions into Palestinian areas, and the army responds with live and rubber bullets, gas bombs, and sound bombs.
An Israeli force stormed the town of Beita “amid gunfire and the firing of toxic gas canisters, and removed Palestinian flags from the roofs of some houses in the town center,” according to the agency.
A number of citizens also suffered from suffocation during the storming of the village of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqi, “amid the heavy firing of gas and sound bombs towards homes and shops, which led to suffocation injuries among the citizens,” according to the same source
In the northern West Bank as well, Wafa reported that the Israeli occupation army stormed the city of Tubas with a number of military vehicles and set up a checkpoint in the middle of the city.
As for the west of the city, the official agency reported that the Israeli occupation army stormed the village of Ein Qiniya, searched several houses, set up a military checkpoint in the middle of the village, and detained several vehicles "without reporting any arrests."
For its part, the state-run “Voice of Palestine” radio station said that “clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces in the city of Al-Bireh, amid live fire (from the occupation army).”
The radio station reported raids targeting the town of Al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, the city of Jericho, and the Aqabat Jabr camp, south of the city.
Since the start of the Israeli war of extermination on the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, Israel has intensified its attacks in the West Bank, including killing, arrest, displacement and settlement expansion, in a course that Palestinians see as paving the way for the formal annexation of the West Bank.
According to official Palestinian data, at least 1,108 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and about 11,000 others were injured, in addition to the arrest of more than 21,000.
