John Herdman is not afraid of the pressure of coaching the Indonesian national team.

  New Indonesian national team coach John Herdman admitted he was not afraid of the immense pressure of coaching the Garuda team, when he spoke at his first press conference on Tuesday at the Mulia Hotel, Jakarta.

"Yes, that pressure is a privilege. You come into an organization, you lead a team, and then you also carry this country," Herdman said.

Herdman doesn't see this from one perspective. He takes another view: pressure can actually be a "gift," because the energy of the fans can provide positive energy for his team every time they play.
